Guide to Protect Your Skin Being Oily

  Oily skin  is caused by an overproduction of sebum (oil) in the pores. This causes the pores to become clogged with excess sebum, which leads to pimples and blackheads. Oily skin  can be caused by many factors such as genetics, hormones, stress and diet. The most common cause is genetics because if both parents had oily skin then there is a good chance that their child will also have oily skin. The other major cause for oily skin is hormones. Hormones are constantly changing during puberty which is why most teenagers get acne around this time period. Types of Oily Skins There are 3 main types of oily skin: Oily Combination Skin : This is the most common type of oily skin and occurs when your T zone is oily and your cheeks are dry.
